Gorgeous Renovated Kitchen in Wenonah, New Jersey
What a beauty!
Under Construction Builders specializes in the transformation of old homes and understands the challenges that can often be faced when renovating an older home. UCB had the privilege to renovate portions of this old house that dates back to 1903.
This house was originally owned by the Presbyterian Church in Wenonah, NJ and was in need of an update. Our homeowner, who grew up in Wenonah, saw the infinite possibilities here and took on the challenge of remodeling this old home starting with the kitchen, powder room and laundry area.
Under Construction Builders removed a load bearing wall to allow for an open floor plan between the kitchen and the dining area. The renovation also included a new laundry area and powder room complete with pocket doors. Our master carpenter created a shelving area in the laundry room out of an old closed off window cavity to house decor and additional storage.
This home now has the best of both old and new… an updated kitchen that is a delight for any cook and still has the charm of an old home with high ceilings, wood floors and exposed stone.
